MAKE it…

I’m tired of trying to take the perfect picture, so I decided to make the perfect picture. I took three photos of my three sons and my grandma. Of the three pictures taken, I knew that I had to have each subject in the perfect pose.

Sure enough, in the first one below, Tyson and Owen looked great. In the second one, Seth’s smile was perfect, and in the third, my grandma had a glowing smile. So I combined the three to make, “The Perfect Picture”.

Using Photoshop, I extracted the right parts of the photos, and placed them in the right places. Then I used the cloning tool to copy the parts of the pictures that needed to cover the overlapping parts of the photo. It wasn’t that hard, but took some creativity to make it work. I’m very happy with the picture and will be printing out a copy for Grandma’s fridge.

Nice compositing! You did a great job, there’s hardly any traces that it was a composite image. Perfect picture indeed!
