I got tickets for the floor to see Weezer on October 14th at the Great Western Forum… in what they call the “Mosh Pit” — aka, THE FLOOR!! I can’t wait for the show!! 

In March of ‘95 I saw a small local band called Weezer at the Whiskey. There were about 300 people there, and Weezer’s only album so far was the Blue Album. Since then, I’ve seen them 7 times and I’ve never been more excited to see them than I am right now.

I took three photos of my three sons and my grandma. Of the three pictures taken, I knew that I had to have each subject in the perfect pose.

Sure enough, in the first one below, Tyson and Owen looked great. In the second one, Seth’s smile was perfect, and in the third, my grandma had a glowing smile. So I combined the three to make, “The Perfect Picture”.

Using Photoshop, I extracted the right parts of the photos, and placed them in the right places. Then I used the cloning tool to copy the parts of the pictures that needed to cover the overlapping parts of the photo. It wasn’t that hard, but took some creativity to make it work. I’m very happy with the picture and will be printing out a copy for Grandma’s fridge.

The new single from weezer comes out on the 22nd of this month!!! I’m so excited! The album is self-titled (again) with a red cover this time. I’m definitely looking forward to going to some shows, and as always, I look forward to the new music that’s gonna be rockin’ our world for the next few months. Go Rivers!!

We love our little guy, and it’s amazing watching him grow so differently from Owen and Tyson. We can’t wait to meet his little personality someday soon. God has truly blessed.

Since Owen comes with us to AWANA, and hangs out in the nursery, we thought it would be fun if he participated in the theme for the night. So Kate went to work on Owen’s hair.
